oy, was carding this and a screw fell out of my carding machine (we think) and it stopped working right in mid-project, we'll tackle it again tonight when Hubbin gets home . . . was carding this turquoise wool from a friend, and natural gray mohair locks:
lovely, lovely stuff. And here's the rovings all trying to dry in the bathroom on the shower rod, it's cold in the house (ten degrees outside, with a high in the 20s today) and the wool is taking an extra day to dry:
and then there's these curls of mohair from Edie, taking even longer to dry:
won't those be marvelous carded in . . . when I get the carder going again . . . good thing I have one of those wonderful husbands who can fix stuff, I would be so without working things if he wasn't willing to share my fiber life, computer life, and sculpture life with me!
