First, go with Good Husband to the doctor's appointment, then fix him a nice breakfast because he's fasting for the bloodwork, then it's time to sew these eighteen pairs of long-armed heavy mittens. I also had enough of the red sweatshirt fabric left over to cut five doubled scarves. And there was a bag of snips and cuttings left over to send my friend that uses up odd bits for me, so there's no waste at all.
I was interviewed awhile back for Click On Detroit's feature of local residents and their hobbies and jobs. If you Google "Click on Detroit," then when you arrive at the site select "I Am Detroit" in the left hand column, you'll see a wheel of different smiling faces. Choose the one that looks like a plain Quaker and you'll see me. Detroit has much to offer, and watching a few of these personalities shows you how diverse and delightful it can be! And of course there is really cool footage of the People Mover, one of my favorite things!
We have a snowstorm coming Friday. Maybe I can get these all done by then, they will be needed.
