no, I haven't been packing two boxes a day as I promised myself I would do. Nope. But I haven't been slacking, either, been making hippy-fied clothes for a local shop:
and been working on writing the docs for the Smarter In The Kitchen Series, because the first lecture is this Saturday! All kinds of ways to prepare, plan, and be smarter about meals in the kitchen so you can work full time and still get a decent meal on the table, and not depend so much on either deli or fast foods--thus saving time and money AND eating food that you controlled the salt, sugar, and additives.
Been thinking about smart ideas for Christmas and other gifts. We're all feeling the pinch these days, it seems (I'm typing this while friends are working on the brakes of my car, which went out last night while husband was driving) and it's nice to have an alternative gifting solution if money is just too tight this year. So consider sitting down and doing your favorite recipes--everything from hot chocolate to casseroles to cookies--and making a set for a young person in your family, or a new bride-to-be, or someone just starting up to housekeeping for themselves. Those cards, and a plate of cookies, candies, or a few ingredients in a recycled basket, are a nice way to make the holidays memorable for both of you. Peace.
Hope all is going well for you. Moving is quite an ordeal...so is commuting! It's nice to think of you living close to the store. See you when you get back to blogging. Take Care.
