So we are moving Labor Day weekend, closing that Saturday so we'll have one day to pack and stuff the truck, one to unload and return it, and Monday all day for cleaning the old house and then falling into the bed at the new one. But immediately the next morning we'll start saving 90 minutes a day for me to commute, and about 70 minutes a day for Good husband's commute, not to mention $300 a month in gasoline.
So here's a couple of treats--fresh dill and fresh ginger root--and the oven has the last batch of cinnamon-raisin, rye, sourdough and cracked wheat breads baking while all the others are cooling to be bagged up for hungry customers who appreciate freshly baked breads:
Finished some little girls-sized pillowcases dresses that are going to be picked up today, and now after the bread is done, going to work on some upcycled denims for the local jeans store--Khristos--so my hands have a lot to do from waking to conking out again. I love this busy life, but will be better off once I'm closer to work and not making that long drive twice a day. I'm sure the Dollarmobile will appreciate a rest, and I'm sure husband will benefit from homemade breakfasts once again. Peace.
