here's some pics for you, it was eerily quiet at 9:30 and then on some secret hidden signal, suddenly the sidewalks were crowded, at 10:10 the parade started rollin' by, and it was all so very very small-town sweet. Here's the boy scouts up on a huge flatbed trailer:
and there were lots of beautiful old cars and firetrucks to admire:
and it was fun jus' to people-watch as they all sipped beverages, the kids darted into the curbs for candies that were thrown, everybody in the parade yelled out names to people not in the parade, and vice-versa. It was all goodness all around.
