so there's more flour and rice and beans than anything else--teas, spices, dried fruits, all that still to come--but passed the final inspection today (weights and measures division came and stuck a nifty sticker onto the scale, thank you very very much) so looking forward to practicing with the scale tonight, and tomorrow opening at 11 a.m.
Of course, there are more things we'd like to have in stock, and the credit-debit reader isn't here yet, and the sign is still on its way--but sooner we open the doors, I figure sooner I can reach out and find my egg lady and cooking teachers and learn more about my new community. And what a blessing to have a notepad on the counter and just plain ask people, what else would you like us to carry?
Still putting prices on a couple of things you'll see in the pictures stacked up, but it's going to be ready by tomorrow morning, it's all good, and God willing, we can move forward now and grow this wonderful thing so that it can be a blessing for others, too.
Good luck on your new venture. We knew you could do it ! All sounds wonderful. dee

Great news Valerie. I will get the mailing list to you as soon as I can. My daughter is out of the hospital, but I am still taking care of her until she is strong enough to go back to work.. which doesn't leave a lot of time to do fun things! My best to you and the new venture. The place looks great!!

It has been a joy and inspiration to watch this story unfold, and I dream of shopping in your store someday. You've been open for 95 minutes now!
