Well, it got a little cloudy so I ran out back and snapped a quick picture, there's 10 booths here today, honey, rhubarb, just talked to a lady that teaches pie making and she might come in July or August and teach fresh apple pies, she said the oven was fine for that (sorta bread oven but will work). Three large tables means six students, not bad, two can roll out and share a table. Anyway, before it maybe rains, here's a pic:
mmmmm, maybe the city will do something with their traffic islands, looking a little sad there. My Landlord's son is moving upstairs temporarilty because he sold his house and the new one isn't ready yet, lots of furniture moving activity in the alleyway outside the kitchen windows. When he moves into his new place maybe we can move upstairs, what a short commute that would make for me, and less than 3 miles for husband, but I don't think it would be big enough for us and our hobbies, hahhaa, and of course BooTheCat needs rambling room.
Peace, may you all find something yummy to cook for yourselves this weekend, and share with a friend; I just listed five vintage cookbook items on Etsy and have a large stack still to go. Aprons and other sewing will stay here, the flat paper ephemera is easy to mail with predictable expense, but those other items drove me crazy and sometimes I had to take a postage loss, so going to stay the smart and narrow way this time around. Live and learn, right? And just to tease you, going to make a pie, after talking with that teacher, now I want a homemade pie of my own!
If a thing is worth doing it is worth doing well.
