Honey is Here, and So Proud!

Found a wonderful, clean, family farm to get the first batch of honey from:

and here it is, on the shelf in the shop,

 
and it's not with a little pride that I feel, the farm was so lovely and peaceful, a "feel good" place of calm and beauty, their equipment room spotless, the hives clean and neat and surrounded by miles of good clean farmland for the busy little fuzzies.  I have stepped onto a thousand farms in my lifetime and this was very very nearly perfect, the right blend of do-it-yourself and practicality, a place for everything and everything in its place, nothing new but nothing broken, and an overwhelming sense of This Is Right and Good flowed through me the whole time I was there.  Your Local dollars to local farmers to support local business and local schools and churches.  See how the circle goes?   peace.
