so here's what you see outside (and it started to POUR right after I took this pic):
But here's my colorful countertop, asking for wine bottles from folks, for our upcoming vinegar class:
and that's a bud vase full of fresh lavendar blossoms right behind it, smells wonderful up there!
and here's the big vase of peonies I put in water, right behind the computer station, and I had enough to take a nice arrangement of them to Gus's restaurant next door, too:
Wouldn't they make a lovely painting? except they smell so heady I wouldn't be able to concentrate.
And to finish a dose of color, the tea packaging labels have arrived, ready to fold around the tea when it gets here (putting the teabags into zip locks first, to retain freshness):
each flavor gets a different color of label, won't that be helpful early in the mornings! And looking forward to inserting them into the gift baskets I'm doing up next week.
Things a little slow, husband hooking up the slide debit reader this weekend, all kinds of fun and delay getting that shipped and all that figured out, but it's coming, and should have music in the store after this weekend, too. Those two things, and getting the sign mounted on the window, and it will be time to call the Chamber of Commerce for our "hard opening." Still so much to do! for which I am thankful. Peace.
I found this article useful in a paper I am writing at university. Hopefully, I get an A+ now!
